Cambs PAT Fixed Wire Testing

Also known as Fixed Installation Testing, Hard Wire Testing or Electrical Periodic Inspection & Test - either way it is vitally important that all wires, cables, accessories and switching equipment of an electrical installation are maintained well, in order to try and prevent injury or fire.

The Electricity at Work regulations state that all electrical systems and equipment used in a working environment should be in a safe condition. The benchmark for this is BS7671:2008 which provides guidance on how best to do this. All our engineers are qualified to carry out this work to help verify the integrity of your electrical installation.

The process involves the visual inspection and testing to identify faults within the installation. Unfortunately, this means isolating parts of the installation for short periods of time which will obviously lead to some disruption. However, we work with you to keep this disruption to a minimum.

On completion we issue a report to show whether the electrical installation is in a satisfactory/unsatisfactory condition to meet the normal requirements of insurers, licensing authority, mortgagers and the Health and Safety Executive.

We could rattle on about loads of other technical stuff, but why not give us a call to discuss this further and we will arrange to undertake a free survey so you know exactly what you need to do.
